What This Rig Does Well
The CZM LR 160 is a long-reach foundation drill rig built for large-diameter shaft drilling and hard-ground work. Its boom geometry and Kelly system apply high torque and crowd to the tool, allowing drilling in rock, hard soils, and locations that are harder to reach with a conventional mast arrangement. It is used on bridge, marine, and heavy civil foundations where shaft position, radius, or access conditions favor a long-reach platform.
