Ward Village “Block O” Kilohana

Our first venture under the Kelikai-Pacific Foundation Joint Venture (JV), this geotechnical construction project exemplifies our dedication to a collaborative effort focused on providing the best solution possible with unmatched precision and efficiency.

Our team installed 215 Augered Cast-In-Place (ACIP) piles, each with a diameter of 24 inches. Utilizing the industry-leading Bauer BG46 and Bauer BG28, we achieved depths of up to 123 feet, ensuring the project’s foundational strength and long-term stability. 

The Kilohana project proudly holds the record for the deepest O-Cell test performed on an ACIP pile in Hawaii. This ground-breaking achievement demonstrated our commitment to ensure the absolute integrity and reliability of our constructions. Moreover, the design was fortified with the design and installation of a robust secant pile wall.

Thanks to our diligent execution and the successful completion of the Block O Kilohana project, the Kelikai-Pacific Foundation JV has earned numerous subsequent projects on Oahu. Our repertoire has expanded to include drilled shafts, ACIP, ground improvement, abutment and diverse shoring projects, all completed with the same dedication to quality and safety.
