This project creates a campus-wide resource for hands-on design thinking and making – including spaces for ideation, rapid prototyping, arts, capstone projects, industry partners and shops.
Scope of Work
The scope of work for the University of Portland Shiley-Marcos Center for Design & Innovation included the installation of underpin anchoring systems, existing wall tiebacks, soldier piles, shoring wall tiebacks and wood lagging.
The Result
The construction work established the structural foundation and support systems necessary for the University of Portland Shiley-Marcos Center.
