TEI Rock Drill 560
Horizontal Drills
Primary Applications
- Micropile drilling from an excavator platform
- Soil nail installation on excavation support work
- Ground-anchor drilling with multiple mast positions
- Drilling from benches, slopes, and irregular pads where excavator reach is useful
What This Drill Does Well
The TEI HEM560 is an excavator-mounted drill attachment configured for soil and rock drilling from a conventional excavator base. It draws hydraulic power from the excavator hammer circuit and can deliver air, water, or grout through the built-in swivel depending on the drilling method. It is used on micropiles, soil nails, and anchor work where the excavator carrier gives better reach or positioning than a dedicated crawler drill.
Performance Highlights
- Excavator-mounted drill attachment platform
- Powered from the excavator hammer circuit
- Built-in swivel for air, water, or grout delivery
- 360-degree swivel positioning capability
