Highlights
Manzanita City Hall is part of the city’s broader effort to build a new civic campus at Underhill Plaza in Manzanita, Oregon. The project exists to create a safer, more durable city-services hub while improving the day-to-day functionality of municipal operations. Because the city hall program is tied closely to emergency preparedness, foundation performance is a central design concern rather than a background detail. Pacific Foundation installed 4-foot CDSM columns as part of the early foundation package for Manzanita’s new city hall campus. The soil-mixing work improved the site for the seismically resilient public-safety and administration buildings planned at Underhill Plaza.
