SIMCO 2400 Drillteam
Track-Mounted Drill Rigs
Primary Applications
- Coring and exploratory drilling ahead of foundation work
- Small-diameter drilling for well and groundwater-control support
- Utility-adjacent drilling where pavement penetration is required
- Supplemental drilling on tight urban or occupied sites
What This Equipment Does Well
The SIMCO 2400 Drillteam is a compact tracked drill rig that combines percussive and auger drilling methods in one package. It can break through pavement or surface crust, then auger and core small-diameter holes with controlled feed, pullback, and drillhead speed. It is used for coring, exploratory drilling, and small-diameter well-related support work where a larger foundation rig would be inefficient to stage.
Performance Highlights
- 960 ft-lbs drillhead torque
- 0-190 rpm drillhead speed
- 7,600 lb pullback and push-down force
- 74 in net stroke
