APE Model 50 Vibratory Hammer
Vibratory Hammers
Primary Applications
- Sheet pile installation and extraction
- Pipe pile driving where vibratory installation is specified
- Temporary works and shoring pile removal
- Marine and waterfront pile work using a crane-hung hammer
What This Equipment Does Well
The APE Model 50 is a crane-hung vibratory driver/extractor used for pile installation and removal. Its eccentric moment, line pull, and hydraulic flow requirements place it in the range for sheet pile, pipe pile, and other driving or extraction work that needs more capacity than a small vibro can provide. It is used on marine, shoring, and temporary works projects where vibration is the preferred installation method.
Performance Highlights
- 1,300 in-lbs eccentric moment
- 50 tons drive force
- 56 tons maximum line pull
- 4,550 lb bare hammer weight without clamp
