Highlights

Lower Granite Dam is an electric power infrastructure project in Pullman, WA. The Lower Granite Dam work upgraded foundation and marine support elements for a major dam and hydropower facility. The project also included 12 permanent micropile anchors embedded into rock for a 15-foot-diameter mooring dolphin, with half of the main shafts installed over water from work trestles. Pacific Foundation installed 32 drilled shafts, each 54 inches in diameter, with 48-inch-diameter rock sockets. The shafts were installed over water through overburden and hard bedrock.
