MAIT Baby Drill
Limited Access Drill Rigs
Primary Applications
- Low-headroom drilled piles inside existing buildings
- Underpinning at retrofit and renovation projects
- Foundation drilling in elevator pits or shafts
- Small-diameter pile drilling where access is limited to roughly 1 m width
What This Rig Does Well
The MAIT Baby Drill is a limited-access foundation drill rig for very tight working envelopes. It drills small piles with augers and buckets, uses a telescopic mast for low-headroom work, and can separate the power pack from the base machine when exhaust management or interior access is an issue. It is used inside structures, in elevator cores, under low roofs, and on retrofit foundation work where standard drill rigs cannot physically enter.
Performance Highlights
- 17.5 kNm maximum torque
- Up to 600 mm maximum diameter
- Up to 15 m maximum depth
- Telescopic mast and removable power pack for limited-access work
