What This Rig Does Well
The Bauer BG 24 H is a hydraulic foundation drill rig in the mid-size shaft-drilling class. It is configured for Kelly drilling in open or supported boreholes and carries enough torque for casing work where hole stability is an issue. It is deployed on transportation, retaining wall, and utility foundation jobs where shaft sizes exceed compact-rig range but do not require a heavy large-hole setup.
Performance Highlights
- Kelly setup: 36 m x 4
- Rotary torque: 222 kNm
- Max pile diameter: up to 1,700 mm
- Carrier platform: BT 75
