The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rebuilt the adult fish facility immediately downstream of Dexter Dam, adding modern collection, sorting, handling, and truck-transport systems while the existing facility maintained upstream passage during construction.

Scope of Work

Working for Slayden, Pacific Foundation installed a tied-back shoring system with 43 HP14×89 soldier piles, 8,398 square feet of wood lagging, and 83 tieback anchors. The package also included 16 36-inch drilled piers with reinforcing cages and temporary casing, using Bauer BG24/BG15 and Klemm 806 equipment.
