The Project
The University of Oregon’s Hayward Field expansion project was a significant renovation aimed at transforming the iconic athletics stadium into a world-class track and field facility, encompassing cutting-edge amenities for athletes, spectators, and hosting major sporting events.
The Solution
Pacific’s scope consisted of drilling shafts reaching 70’ in depth with 20’ of embedment into the sandstone layer as well as installing shafts for the Hammer Throw facility.
The Result
The Hayward Field expansion enhanced community engagement, improved athletic resources, and created potential for hosting international sporting events in Eugene.
Objective
The Hayward Field Enhancement Project supplied the university with a world-class track and field facility, that more than doubled its original occupancy.
