Building the future
Stinking Water Bridge
Client: Waldron & Sons
Scope of Work: Prebored Pipe Piles
Project Year: 2017
The Project
The projects were delivered through a combination of federal funds from the Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program (HBRR) and a state-funded local project delivery system.
The Solution
The original Stinking Water bridge was a 3-span timber bridge that was structurally deficient. The replacement involved constructing a single-span precast concrete slab bridge.
The Result
The completion of the Stinking Water Bridge improved safety, accessibility, and mobility for the community, providing upgraded infrastructure and enhanced stormwater management systems.
Scope of Work
Permanent Casing: Using a Bauer BG 12 H in conventional drilling mode, we installed permanent casing and pipe piles per the ODOT plans and specifications.
Pipe Piles
After drilling, pipe piles were set and verified at the correct elevation to complete the project in 8 working days.
