Auger Cast (CFA) Piles: Low-Vibration, Highly Versatile Foundation Solutions

Low-vibration, high-performance CFA piles for the Pacific Northwest’s most complex projects — delivered precisely, efficiently, and built to last.

At Pacific Foundation, our CFA pile method uses a hollow-stem auger to drill and pump concrete simultaneously; creating a consistent, high-strength foundation with minimal disruption.

Pacific Foundation specializes in a wide variety of deep foundation solutions. Watch the video to learn more!

Key Benefits of Augercast Piles

Minimal Noise and Vibration
Ideal for urban, residential and sensitive environments.

Fast, Continuous Installation
Drilling and concreting in one seamless process.

Broad Soil Compatibility
Performs reliably in sands, clays, silts, gravels, and soft rock.

Cost Effective and Efficient
No temporary casing required, fewer steps, fewer costs.

Augercast piles are cast-in-place deep foundation elements constructed using a hollow-stem continuous flight auger. The process involves drilling to the required depth then pumping concrete or grout through the auger as it is withdrawn, creating a continuous pile. Reinforcement cages are then inserted into the fresh concrete to add structural integrity.

    Ideal Use Cases

CFA piles are suitable for a wide range of structures, industries and applications including:

    • Commercial and Residential Buildings
Supporting structures like the Holden of Pearl in Portland.
    • Infrastructure Projects
Supporting facilities like the Three Rivers Wastewater Treatment Plant in Longview.
    • Water and Sewer Facilities
Stabilizing critical utilities across the Pacific Northwest.

With years of deep foundation experience Pacific Foundation has successfully delivered CFA pile solutions on many projects. Our commitment to quality, safety and innovation ensures every project meets the highest standards.
