On July 15, 2021, the Port of Everett broke ground on the $36 million Norton Terminal Development, a critical maritime infrastructure project aiming to enhance commerce, restore jobs, and achieve environmental stewardship. Completion is targeted for fall 2022.
This project included the installation of 60” diameter drilled shafts in saturated sands using full length temporary casing and vibratory hammer for installation and extraction of the casing.
The completed project at Lower Granite Dam provides enhanced water management, improved flood control, and increased stability for long-term sustainability.
The successful project ensured the stability and integrity of the Bull Run Dam towers, enhancing the water storage and distribution system’s reliability.
